24th September 2026 – Imagine popping into a shop at Harry Goemans Centre in Bergvliet on a mild Monday morning, only to find yourself being stopped and surrounded by a large group of security vehicles.
That’s exactly what happened today — and judging by the driver’s reaction, he certainly wasn’t happy about it. 
So why the powerful response ?
The driver was a suspect wanted by SAPS in connection with a serious charge, and his vehicle had triggered multiple LPR alerts in the area.
Our security partners BH and Ithuba immediately began tracking the vehicle and, through CVIC — our partner control room — kept everyone updated as it moved through the area.
Once the vehicle entered the BKM area, the BKM SRT team, with permission from SAPS Diep River and the support of our fellow security service providers, brought the vehicle to a safe stop.
Working alongside BKM SRT were BH, Ithuba, FADT and Metro, with multiple security teams coordinating their efforts to ensure the situation was handled safely and professionally.
