CRIME WRAP
DIEP RIVER– On 2019-09-21 at about 10:45 members attached to Diep River SAPS responded to a house robbery call at a local residence in Nursery Lane, Constantia.
The complainant was in her residence when an unknown male entered her property and demanded food. The resident then noticed that her Ipad had been taken and offered the suspect money to retrieve the item back. The suspect then became aggressive and a scuffle ensued. The resident managed to force the suspect out and locked the door.
No injuries reported. A case of House Robbery was registered and is being investigated.

In a separate incident on 2019-09-21 at about 17:20 members of Diep River SAPS responded to a Business Robbery call at a local superette, Main Road, Plumstead.
The complainant was at his workplace serving customers at the till point when he noticed four unknown males enter his shop. One of the males took out a firearm and threatened him. The other three males then demanded they sit down and hand over all the monies.
The suspects took cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of monies. Suspects then fled on foot. No shots were fired and no injuries reported. A case of Business Robbery was opened and is being investigated.
