SAPS Wynberg Operations arranged for the SAPS Airwing to conduct routine patrols across our area today, Saturday. They concentrated on the shopping centres, then moved across to Hout Bay where they assisted in trying to find a fisherman lost at sea near Seal Island. Two of our local SAPS members accompanied the pilots, and were able to point out various hot spots. Communication with CVIC (Constantia Valley Information Centre), the community radio control room was done via the community radio on board the chopper.
