Four local security armed response officers were awarded Certificates of Appreciation from the CVWA (Constantia Valley Watches Association) for their unselfish dedication to the local community.
Barry Ackeer and Peter Damons, both from BH Security; plus Simbonile Bakajana and Tariq Munnik from ADT were presented the certificates and mouth-watering Spur Vouchers. Andre Ackerman, owner of our local Acapulco Spur Steak Ranch generously provided the meal vouchers to accompany the certificates.
All these officers have over the past few months been involved in several arrests of criminals. Their extra efforts are appreciated and assist with keeping the community in which they work safer. Volunteer Neighbourhood Watch Resident Patrollers will know these wonderful men as always being available to assist in checking out suspicious people and vehicles, whenever they are on shift, especially during the early morning hours.
