Below is a notice received from the City (Subcouncil 20 which includes Constantia) regarding a public meeting to be held next Wednesday 2nd September at 7pm at the Alphen Hall
We receive many complaints/enquiries regarding the increasing number of vagrants in the Constantia area and surrounds and have been requesting such a meeting with the authorities for some time.
We encourage you to attend if at all possible.

Kindly be advised that Cllr Suzette Little (MAYCO Member for Social Development and Early Childhood Development) will address the public about the City’s Street Peoples Programme and related initiatives.

Venue: Alphen Hall, Constantia Main Road, Constantia
Please diarise the date and attend the meeting to find out what the City is doing to reintegrate street people into communities and how you can give responsibly to help them.
Time will be allocated for questions and officials will be in attendance.
