From time to time we publish great success stories shared with us by our local security companies. We take this opportunity to thank them for going above and beyond just responding to client alarms. It is the extra mile that you go to that helps to safeguard all residents a little more. We all appreciate your officers using the community radio and working closely with CVIC – the valley community control room – this radio is the greatest communication tool there is, for fast, effective response and assistance.

20 August 2022
One of the most rewarding and unrecognized jobs in the security industry is guards doing bicycle patrols! So! With that being said, we would like to, thank Adam one of our superb bicycle patrollers in Plumstead for a job well done!
On Saturday the 20th of August, Adam saw 2 suspect males jumping over a residential gate; he then contacted our control room who dispatched 2 Pro-sec Armed Response officers to the scene. They found both suspects still on the premises and promptly affected the arrest of both where it was discovered that they were in possession of stolen goods.
This was indeed a great combined effort by Pro-Sec Armed Response, our 24hr control room and SAPS! Once again, well done Adam! If it wasn’t for your diligent work, these 2 suspects would have gotten away with the stolen possessions. A job well done in ensuring the safety of our community!
GOOD NEWS STORY
Camera initiative alert – Blackwell Lane Deurdrif Constantia
Our CCTV Operator received an alert of a male and child walking down Blackwell Lane the 15 August 2022. Monitoring the surveillance for a while they have picked up from another angle that the child was on the opposite side of the road alone, it seemed as if the parent was not present/visible from both camera views.
Our CCTV team immediately dispatched our Blitz unit to check up on the child, which was 2 years of age. On arrival our Blitz member confirmed that the parent was at one of the residences which is located on a blind spot underneath the camera and they were outside monitoring the child.
We at Pro-sec strive to protect and safe guard our community and surroundings at all times, your safety is our first priority!
