Fidelity ADT joined Parkscape and SA Women Fight Back at a Memorial Event
Fidelity ADT showing our presence as the residents arrive at the Constantia Watch AGM
Fidelity ADT working together with other SSP’s to secure an arrest … Officer Safodien was monitoring his Community Radio when he heard a NHW Patroller broadcast a description of a suspect who is roaming the streets and who is believed to be armed. Officer Safodien headed in the direction of where the suspect was last seen, he along with other SSP’s soon had the suspect cornered and placed in handcuffs. The suspect was searched (with consent), unfortunately, no weapons were found, but a large number of drugs were found in his possession. Contact was made with Diep River SAPS, upon their arrival the suspect was arrested for possession of drugs and on suspicion of drug dealing.
Fidelity ADT Reaction Officer (RO) Safodien responded to a frantic call from a Tarley Road, Wynberg resident. The resident reported seeing someone jumping into a Fidelity ADT protected property. RO Safodien whilst checking the property came across the suspect attempting to hide in an avocado tree. RO Safodien apprehended the suspects and handed him over to the Wynberg SAPS.
Fidelity ADT Reaction Officer (RO) Zaula was patrolling past Zwaanswyk High Schooll when he noticed a student stepping out a vehicle and dropping something (unaware of it). RO Zaula quickly stopped to check what it was, it was a pair of school gloves. RO Zaula knew the chance of finding the student was slim to none, he opted to try and find the vehicle. RO Zaula found the vehicle at the next traffic light, he quickly jumped out and knocked on the driver window so that the gloves could be returned. The father of the youngster later emailed the Management Team the following … “It might seem trivial, however, when such members pursue themselves as honest and will go that extra mile, for a member of the public, it cannot go unrewarded or unanswered. Please convey my humblest THANKS to officer Zaula for the good deed”
Footnote: “Thank you to FADT from us all in the Constantia Valley – your enthusiasm and teamwork with all role players, SAPS, patrollers and other security companies is appreciated. Plus importantly your ongoing sponsorship of the community radio network used by so many in the valley, and the donated FADT radio controllers who sit at CVIC coordinating responses, lost pets, missing persons, fires and so much more”
