Weekly crime wrap, SAPS DiepRiver 10/7/2017

 

Western Cape: On 2017/07/02 at 07.15 at the corner of Main and Victoria Road Plumstead, the complainant was walking along the Main Road, after he had withdrawn R2000.00 from the Standard Bank ATM. Two unknown males between the ages of 28 – 35 years old, one of which is approximately 1.75m in height, the other approximately 1.65m in height, medium build and clean shaven, approached the complainant, and demanded his cell phone. One of the suspects thereafter pulled out a firearm and threatened the complainant. The complainant handed over his cell phone to the suspects. One of the suspects searched the pockets of the complainant and took the R2000.00 cash. No arrests have yet been made. A case of Robbery with Firearm has been opened. For the week 2017/06/30 till 2017/07/07 fifteen persons was arrested for various offences ranging from House Robbery, Theft, Assault, Theft out of Motor Vehicle and Possession of dangerous weapons.
